HERE IS AN OVERVIEW OF THE MOST COMMON ISSUES AND SOLUTIONS IF YOU CAN'T LOG INTO CASEBASE.

You can log in to Casebase either using your email and password or via Single Sign-On (SSO), depending on the method your company has set up for you.

Before You Start

General Login Tips

  • Make sure your account is activated.

  • Update your browser to the latest version.

  • Clear your browser’s cache and cookies.

  • Use an incognito window or a different device and browser.

  • Check if your email address is entered correctly and matches the one in your Casebase profile.

  • Watch out for typos in your email address.

  • Enter your password manually.

  • Make sure you are using the correct login address (e.g., yourcompany.casebase.ai) and not old bookmarks or links from emails.

  • If none of these tips help: Reset your password.

  • If the issue persists, please contact our support team at customer.support@casebase.ai.


Issues Logging in for the First Time

  • Your Casebase admin sends you an invitation email.

  • Open the email and click the registration link. ⚠️ Note: The invitation link is only valid for 30 days. If it has expired, ask your admin to send you a new one.

  • Set a secure password and complete the registration. Alternatively: If your company has set up SSO, this option will be displayed on the registration page and can be used instead.

  • Then go to yourcompany.casebase.ai and log in using your email and the password you set.

Info: Unregistered users from an organization with an active SSO setup do not need a separate invitation to register. They can simply register via SSO login.

 


Issues Logging in via Email and Password

Requirements:
  • You received an invitation email to register with Casebase.

  • You followed the invitation link and created a password.

Common Issues & Solutions:
  • Didn't receive an invitation:
    ➡️ Check your spam folder or contact your organization’s Casebase admin.

  • Invitation link expired:
    ➡️ Ask your admin to resend the invitation.

  • "Invalid email and password combination":
    ➡️ Make sure you're using the email address you were invited with. Use the "Forgot password" function if needed.

  • Forgot password:
    ➡️ Click "Forgot password" on the login screen and follow the instructions to set a new password.


Issues Logging in via Single Sign-On (SSO)

Requirements:
  • Your organization has successfully integrated SSO in Casebase.

  • You are active in your organization’s Microsoft Entra ID tenant.

Common Issues & Solutions:
  • SSO login not working: ➡️ Check if you're signed into the correct Microsoft account.

  • "You are not authorized to log into Casebase":
    ➡️ Contact your organization’s admin. Your user may not yet be provisioned in Casebase.

  • Clicking "Sign in with Microsoft" does nothing:
    ➡️ Try a different browser or clear your cache.

  • Previously had access, but no longer:
    ➡️ You may have been removed from the Entra ID tenant. Please contact your admin.
